Knights of Columbus

Our Lady of Peace Council #8668 of the Knights of Columbus has been providing support to the parishes of St. Ignatius Loyola and St. Francis of Assisi, and to the local community for over 30 years.

Who We Are
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with over 1.8 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

Membership Benefits
As a member of Our Lady of Peace Council, you will have the satisfaction of supporting your local Parish, Carmel Heights Residence for Seniors, Vita Centre providing support to pregnant women, Hart House Hospice, St Vincent de Paul Societies, Eden Community food bank, the St Ignatius CSS Breakfast Club, and many other worthwhile causes in Mississauga and beyond. In addition you will receive the Columbia magazine, the world's largest Catholic family magazine, and be eligibility to join the Knights of Columbus top-ranked life insurance programs.

How to Join
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practical Catholic men who are at least 18 years old. A practical Catholic is one who accepts the teaching authority of the Catholic Church on matters of faith and morals, aspires to live in accord with the precepts of the Catholic Church, and is in good standing in the church. Membership application forms are available from any member of the Knights of Columbus.
